My role is to manage the IMS Professional Services Team, ensuring that the support we give to the IMS-MRL enables world class research and teaching.

Background
A graduate in Business Studies, I initially worked in retail – high street, online and museum/heritage. This background taught me the need to strive for excellent customer service. In later roles, I focussed on admin management and business planning & strategy – I love working with a team to provide support, looking at the bigger picture and helping to build a dynamic and positive environment to work and study in!
Working at the IMS-MRL
I manage the IMS Professional Services team, ensuring that we:
- Manage Institute governance & planning
- Look after our people – staff, students and visitors
- Provide excellent research & office facilities
- Support Funding & Finance processes
- Facilitate Institute marketing, comms & public participation
- Deliver efficient admin support
On a wider School of Clinical Medicine (SCM) level, I work with SCM Management and the SCM Change Partner to ensure the IMS-MRL is aligned with UoC strategy, policy and transformation programmes.
