Research Focus
The overall aim of my research is for and joining a multidisciplinary team of clinical and basic scientists investigating the drivers of cancer cachexia and better understanding of background complex mechanism.
Background and experience
My interested in clinical research started during my master’s degree in Oncology at the University of Nottingham and it gives me further inspiration for further programme that will provide me with the scope to continue to develop my research skills whilst conducting fundamental research clinical significance.
Working at the IMS-MRL
The central hypothesis to my project is that cachexia is driven by the tumour itself with molecular signals from the tumour activating and interacting with hormone pathway. I believe we can discover novel effective treatments for this devastating condition.
